ABOUT

My name is Jessica Clarke. I am a senior at the University of Colorado Boulder studying Information Science, with minors in Space and Computer Science.

As a senior at CU Boulder, I have taken an unorthodox path to find my passion. In my first two years at CU I was a film studies major, which expanded my appreciation for cinema, music, and the arts. The summers following I worked at Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp as their videographer and photographer. Making the dramatic change to information science, I discovered that I have a passion for computer science, coding, and space.

During the 2019-2020 school year I was treasurer of a student organization called Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics (WoAA). The following year 2020-2021, I was the president. WoAA aimed to help women, students of gender minorities, and allies create a community and support one another in the aerospace field.

The summer of 2021 I lived in Washington DC as a part of the CU in DC program at CU. My internship was with NASA HQ as a disasters mapping product automation intern. Through the fall I have continued my internship, and it will be ending in December when I graduate.

Currently, I am looking for full-time positions starting January 2022 where any of my data analysis, data visualization, coding, communication, and leadership skills can be applied. Specifically the aerospace, tech, videogaming, programming industries, and space/science policy fields.
