SPACE EXPLORATION PROJECTS

Summer 2021
Disasters Mapping Portal Product Automation Intern
During the summer of 2021, I interned at NASA HQ assisting the Disasters program GIS administrators with automating python scripts to use for mapping images of floods, hurricanes, aerosol data, and wildfires.
I worked primarily in python with the arcpy library and quickly picked up on ArcGIS Pro and Esri products.
For the Fall of 2021, I will continue to intern with this group.

Enceladus Touchdown Natural Analysis | NASA L'Space MCA
During the NASA L'Space Mission Concept Academy, my team and I developed the ETNA Rover. The ETNA Rover will analyze the surface of Enceladus, for temperature, seismic activity, and analyze rock surface samples.
As lead scientist on this project, I directed the science team to plan a mission objective, and develop experiments with instruments to install on the rover.
Our final project design review for the ETNA Rover can be found below.

Concept Gateway Lunar Lander |
Introduction to Human Space Flight
My favorite class taught by Astronaut Jim Voss, our final project was to design a Gateway Habitat attachment and a Lunar Lander. I designed a Gateway Habitat attachment that was 66ft long and 25 ft in diameter. The lunar lander I designed was 16ft wide and 30ft tall.
Below is a full write up of the habitat attachment and lunar lander.
